3.  FOLDING LECLERC 4 SHAFT JACK LOOM FOR SALE.  38" weaving width with a stainless steel reed (12 epi). 10. FOLDING FOUR SHAFT HARRIS FLOOR LOOM.  I don’t know much about this loom as I bought it, brought it home and never used it. It seems to be in very good condition and has a variety of sticks and shuttles to go with it.  £300 tel: Elaine Hillson (Lampeter, Ceredigion) 01570 421314

14.  RUG LOOM for sale.  6’ by 6’ by 6’.  Not assembled and no instructions but previous owner was able to work out the assembly and use.  Too large for current premises and  unused since 2004.  May be Dryad?  Spare heddles.  Parts may need some cleaning.  Nice solid loom.  Buyer would need to collect from Edinburgh.  Offers considered, but looking for around £320. 17.  42" WIDTH 4 SHAFT UNDERSLUNG FLOOR LOOM 6 pedals, 8 dpi reed.  Weavrite manufactured by Lunds of Bingley.   Many accessories included in the price, such as shuttles, warping frame, temple, and matching bench. There are also approx. 25 cones of spun wool in a large variety of colours which would make a great starting stock.  They are included in the price quoted. DL4.  DOBBY LOOM 42" capacity, for hand-weaving, sampling and production.  Hand built by George Wood for me in 1977.  With 16 shafts it offers exceptional weaving flexibility ranging from small hangings to fabric production. Unusual for a dobby, it is operated sitting down, using two pedals that lift and lower shafts pneumatically (a compressor is included for this).  Alternatively it can be used with a treadle (included).  The loom, traditionally built from wood, is easy to put together, and may be seen assembled in our workshop near Holt, Norfolk.  The loom has two beams.  There is a hand batten (with open ends so any size reed can be used) with seven hand shuttles and a quantity of pirns, plus a manual pirn winder. There is also a flying shuttle batten with three boxes, four shuttles (beautifully hand carved by G.W.) and a quantity of pirns.  It comes with a 42" wide, 10 dent per inch reed.  Also included are plenty of heddles, 200 lags, lots of pegs, a purpose built box for bashing them out, a threading hook, reeding hook, 42" raddle and plenty of sticks for warp winding.  The loom is complete - even a stool of the correct height is included.  Overall dimensions assembled: 1.8m wide x 1.5m deep x 2.7m high (when using pneumatic attachment, otherwise 2.4m).  Contact Susan Marston 07825 994443 or email artismyonlymistress@gmail.com

TAPESTRY LOOMS

TL1.  GLIMAKRA REGINA UPRIGHT TAPESTRY LOOM  2 shafts.  1.50 metre weaving width, 20+ years old.  With shafts, beater, 3 sets of treadles, 2 harnesses, and warpboard on the back of the loom. Also includes warp sticks, heddles and reed.  Floor space:  1.05 metres x 1.86 metres.  Max height: 1.93 metres.  Approx weight: 97 kilos.  In perfect working order apart from some minor hammer marks on frame and 2 rubber feet missing.  If interested in this item, we strongly recommend that you collect it (Peebles in Scottish borders) so you can disassemble it into pieces and so know how to re-assemble it later.  Offers over £850.  Contact Richard Forsyth 07770 42 42 41    A quantity of Craftsman's Mark weaving wool is also offered for sale separately.
