5.  Glimakra A-frame floor loom. Countermarch, 8 shafts and 8 treadles, although there is room for 2 more treadles if wanted (I don’t have them, but I believe they could be bought separately). Texsolv tie up.   Sold with warp sticks and 2 reeds (8dpi and 12dpi). Folds up for storage. Beam width: 43 inches, weaving width: approx 40inches.  Much loved but little used owing to lack of space. 19. Very dusty and neglected loom needs good home.  Lifestyle reality check forces sale. George Maxwell floor loom   All complete but not assembled  Weaving width 30”  Overall dimensions  Height 60”/153cm  Width 48”/122cm  Depth 46”/116cm 4 shafts and 6 pedals.  (can be used as 8 shafts and 8 pedals using home-made conversion) various reeds, rather rusty, need TLC. 41.  FLOOR LOOM.  Approx 100 years old, believed to be Norwegian.  Advertised on behalf of a friend who unearthed it whilst cleaning an elderly relative's house. The weaving members at Berkshire Guild of Spinners and Weavers helped me assemble it and now I know it is 4 shafts, 4 treadles, counterbalanced and would have string heddles. Looks suitable for heavy duty weaving eg: rugs, cushions, wall hangings etc.  It does need a bit of TLC - could make a good project.  Currently dismantled ready for transport but I did lable the pieces and write instructions as it was pieced together and also have pictures of similar looms from the Guild library books to help out.  Sensible offers please.  Tel:  Debbie Cogger 07793 749809 (Reading, Berks)

TAPESTRY LOOMS

TL1.  GLIMAKRA REGINA UPRIGHT TAPESTRY LOOM  2 shafts.  1.50 metre weaving width, 20+ years old.  With shafts, beater, 3 sets of treadles, 2 harnesses, and warpboard on the back of the loom.
